Coupondroid is a coupon and deals site for people shopping online in the United States. We find discount codes and offers, check what we can, and put them on one page per store, so you are not opening eleven tabs before checkout. It is free, there is nothing to sign up for, and we are upfront about how we get paid.
What Coupondroid actually is
We are a publisher, not a store. We sell nothing, hold no inventory and never touch your payment details. What we do is unglamorous and useful: track thousands of promotions across US retailers, separate the live ones from the dead ones, and write down what each code really does — the minimum spend, the excluded brands, the “new customers only” catch that the banner ad forgot to mention.
How we check coupons
A coupon site is only worth the codes that work, so this is the part we take most seriously.
- We start from the source. Codes come from the retailers themselves and from the affiliate networks they publish through, plus public campaigns, newsletters and seasonal press releases. We do not scrape random forums and hope for the best.
- We test in a real cart where we can. Building a qualifying basket on the store's own site and applying the code is how we tell a live offer from a dead one, and it is the check we run before featuring a code.
- We re-check on a schedule, and again around the dates when stores rotate campaigns. Codes we find expired come down rather than being quietly left up to pad the page.
- We write the conditions down. Where a code has limits we can see, they go in the description. Where a store will not tell us, we say plainly that the terms are set by the store.
- We listen when you tell us it failed. The fastest signal that something broke is a reader email, and every report gets re-tested.
What we will not claim is that every code works in every cart every time. Retailers cap redemptions, end campaigns early and run region-locked offers without warning. Anyone advertising a hundred percent hit rate is guessing.
Why it is free
Because the stores pay, not you. When you click through to a retailer from here and buy something, the store pays us a referral commission out of its marketing budget, and your price is not affected. That is the entire business model, and we have written it out in full on how Coupondroid makes money — including the part that matters most: commissions do not decide which coupons we publish or how we rank them.
Built around the US shopping calendar
Most of what American households save online is saved on about a dozen dates a year, so that is where we put the work.
- Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Our biggest push, with store-by-store pages that go live as the deals do and keep updating through the weekend.
- Amazon Prime Day and the counter-sales that other retailers run the same week.
- Back to school in July and August, including the state sales-tax holidays worth planning your purchases around.
- The long weekends — Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day — when mattresses, appliances and furniture usually see their deepest discounts of the year.
- The holidays, from the early-December shipping cutoffs to the post-Christmas clearance most people forget to check.
- Everyday categories the rest of the year: fashion, tech, travel, home, beauty, subscriptions and online learning.
What we will not do
No fake countdown timers. No “exclusive” codes that are really just the public sale. No invented original prices to make a discount look bigger. No selling your inbox — the newsletter is opt-in and one click gets you out of it. Being useful to you twice is worth more than being clicked once.
Who is behind it
Coupondroid is published by the company identified in our registration details, which runs the same service in several countries, each with its own lineup of stores and its own editors: OhMyLabs S.L. The US edition at coupondroid.com is written for US shoppers, in US dollars, with US retailers and US shipping realities in mind — not translated from somewhere else and left to fend for itself.
Talk to us
Found a code that failed? Know a store we are missing? Spotted something wrong on a page? Write to [email protected]. Reader corrections are the cheapest quality control there is, and we would far rather hear it from you than not hear it at all.
